Become immersed in our expansive habitat that 5 species of penguins call home and learn more about these charismatic animals. Walk onto the snow alongside our colony of penguins and learn all about these magnificent birds as an aviculturist shares what it takes to care for these animals.

In order to simulate Antarctic seasons, light levels at Antarctica Penguin Encounter will be very low. For the health and safety of the penguins, NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY or supplemental lighting of any kind, including cell phone flash, will be allowed at any point during the experience.
Program times, prices, components and animal participation are subject to change without notice.
The program fee is non-refundable. Please keep in mind if you arrive late you may not be able to join the program.
Park admission is not included with your program reservation, but is required. Due to the special nature of this program, space is limited and early reservations are recommended.
Pricing is per person. Max 6 guests allowed. There are limited spots available and we cannot guarantee there will be room to add extra participants.
The minimum age to participate is 5 years old. Any guest 5-15 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult. A paying adult is defined as anyone 18 years of age or older.
Guests will be exposed to low temperatures (as low as 20 degrees). Jacket and boots will be provided for this experience.
All guests must be fully mobile and use of wheelchairs, electric scooters, walkers, canes, crutches, etc. are not allowed.
No loose jewelry, sunglasses or smoking is permitted during the interaction.
Admission to SeaWorld is required and not included. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are nonrefundable. The minimum age to participate is 5 years old. For animal and participant safety, all directions provided by our guides and keepers MUST be followed at all times. All tours include some restrictions on the use of personal belongings in animal areas including phones and cameras. Late arrivals will miss tour components and may not be accommodated on later programs, or refunded, due to limited availability.
