Which program should I select?

If you are a media based in Florida looking to visit SeaWorld or Aquatica, please select the Florida Media Courtesy Ticket Program option.

All other applicants looking to visit SeaWorld and Aquatica must be on assignment and apply through the Media On-Assignment / Influencer Visit Request option.

All requests for Discovery Cove must be submitted through the Discovery Cove Media On-Assignment Request option.

Who is eligible for Media Tickets?

Complimentary admission is available to media in the following categories:

Print Media: Publishers, editors, reporters, staff writers, digital news staff, photographers, freelance writers, and producers.

Broadcast Media: New directors, assignment editors/managers, producers, digital news staff, on-air personnel (anchors/hosts/DJs/reporters), photographers/videographers, and program directors.

Online Media: Social media influencers or bloggers are considered on a case-by-case basis if the blogger has a significant media following and meets other criteria. Links to blog posts and/or social media posts must be sent within seven (7) days of their visit.

What if I am traveling from outside the state of Florida and not on assignment?

Unfortunately you are not eligible for Media Tickets.

When do I need to submit my Media Ticket Request by?

Media Ticket Requests for SeaWorld or Aquatica must be submitted at least seven (7) days prior to your requested visit date.

Requests to visit Discovery Cove must be received at least thirty (30) days prior to your requested visit date.

How many Media Tickets do I get?

Two (2) complimentary tickets will be granted per year to qualifying personnel to SeaWorld or Aquatica.

Florida based members of the media are eligible for up to four (4) complimentary tickets per year to either SeaWorld or Aquatica.

NOTE: This courtesy is for park admission only.

How long does it take for my request to process?

Visit requests are processed two (2) to four (4) weeks prior to your selected visit date.

What can I photograph or film in your parks?

Media guests visiting the park on assignment are permitted to take their own photos and video as it relates to covering their visit to the park. Commercial photography and videography is strictly prohibited. For a collection of park images and b-roll, visit our Press Materials page.

What if I need to change or cancel my visit date?

Please E-Mail us to have your current reservation canceled. Due to blockout dates and Media Pass availability, you must apply for the specific day you want to visit.
