For over 37 years Hiko Maeda has been turning 2-dimensional illustrations into 3-dimensional works of art. After over 2 decades of mastering his craft and apprenticeship under the original Precious Moments Master Sculpture, Hiko became the official Master Sculpture for Precious Moments in 2008. His figurines have become an important part of countless life’s special celebrations and given as gifts that have been cherished over the decades. Hiko’s talents extend beyond just his work with just clay, he’s a talented guitar player. He can be seen regularly playing his favorite 80s and 90s rock songs on Facebook for his friends and fans across the world. When he’s not in his studio sculpting or playing guitar you can usually find him on the ice sharpening his hockey skills and keeping in shape. With almost 4 decades of sculpting experience Hiko is truly a master of his craft.
