Registration begins in late fall/early winter.

All confirmation packet components, including health history and release forms, must be completed and signed prior to Camper participation. SeaWorld Camp partners with CampDoc.com, the leading electronic health record system for Camps. You can complete and sign your Camper’s health information and releases electronically! The security and privacy of your Camper's information is very important to us. The CampDoc.com site is secure, encrypted and password protected. Only the SeaWorld Camp team will have access to your Camper’s information.

Upon completion, your camper's profile will be reviewed by our Camp Nurse prior to the beginning of their camp week.

The Parent Handbook and Parking Pass can be found on CampDoc when completing your camper’s registration.

Your camper should be registered for the grade they will be going into for the upcoming school year. Example: If your camper just completed 1st grade you will register them for one of the 2^nd grade camps.

Campers participate in a variety of activities every day and our schedules are fluid to accommodate the unique nature of a zoological theme park. Campers spend their day enjoying attractions at SeaWorld, experiencing immersive habitats showcasing animals from around the world, participating in interactive activities/crafts, and seeing our world-class presentations.

Our Camp activities and schedules are subject to change due to weather, animal needs, park operations or various other unforeseen circumstances without notice. For this reason, we do not provide a written schedule to hand out each day. The Parent Handbook on CampDoc contains specific additional information Camp families should be aware of.

Space is limited in each camp. To ensure your camper is enrolled with their friends, please be sure they are registered in the same camp for the same week during the booking process. Camp registration is based upon first come, first served. Campers that registered in different camps may not be able to be moved to a different camp.

An adult over the age of 18 is responsible for signing campers in/out each day. You will be asked to present a government issued photo ID at check-out and your name must be listed on the approved pick-up list for each camper you will be picking up.

Campers are not permitted to sign themselves into or out of camp, regardless of age.

Campers receive their t-shirt during check-in on the first day of camp. Additional Camp shirts are available for purchase during your child’s camp week (credit/debit only please). The SeaWorld Camp t-shirt should be worn daily. The Camp t-shirt is easily identifiable for Camp and Park Staff and allow counselors to manage their groups more effectively. Camp t-shirts that are altered in any way, and have been deliberately cut, ripped, or torn, will not be allowed.

Campers should dress appropriately for the outdoors and forecasted weather. Florida is hot and humid during the summer. All Camp programs spend time outdoors and involve a considerable amount of walking. Campers have the potential to get wet any day of the week due to water attractions or from summer rain showers.

Campers should wear comfortable, quick-dry shorts/pants. Quick-dry shorts allow Campers to continue to comfortably enjoy the day if they happen to get wet.

Please dress your Camper in comfortable, walking shoes. Campers are permitted to wear open-toe footwear if it has a heel strap. No sandals or flip-flops, please.

Campers are required to bring their own lunch each day.

Please take the following into consideration:

• Clearly label lunch containers with Camper’s first and last name
• Lunches are stored in secure locations; however, refrigeration is not available. We recommend lunches contain non-perishable items or an ice pack to keep perishable items cool.
• Lunch containers should be standard size.
• Campers are not permitted to share any of their lunch items with other Campers.
• The Camp itinerary does not allow time for campers to purchase meals in the park. Please pack a lunch each day.

Check-in is from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. only. Upon arrival each day, please park your car and walk your Camper(s) to the security check point. After completing a bag check you are required to walk your Camper to the sign-in table and sign them in. If your child will be late, a SeaWorld Camp Ambassador will greet you and your camper at the gate with your camper’s sign-in sheet. Camp Staff will then escort your camper to their camp group. If your child will be absent, please notify Camp Leadership. Any camp activities missed cannot be made up or refunded.

If a Camper needs to be picked up before 3:00 p.m., please notify Camp Staff during check-in. All early pickups must take place prior to 2:00 p.m. All Camp staff are preparing for Camp Dismissal from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and are unable to accommodate early pick-up requests during that time. To help us ensure that your child is ready to be picked up at the appropriate time, or if you have an emergency after Camp begins, please call the Camp Team 30 minutes prior to your arrival.

Yes, the Extended Day program can be purchased for an additional fee (per camper). Campers are transferred to Extended Day counselors once Camp dismissal concludes. Campers participating in Extended Day will be engaged in games and educational activities during this program (park attractions are not included). Campers registered in Extended Day must be picked up no later than 6:00 p.m. and the same pick-up system is in place for Extended Day as for regular Camp check-out. If a Camper is picked up after 6:00 p.m. an additional charge will be assessed.

Weather conditions are closely monitored by the SeaWorld Dispatch Team. Programs continue with regularly scheduled activities in rainy conditions and groups seek shelter if lightning or conditions worsen in the immediate area.

Campers receive complimentary admission to SeaWorld after every day of their camp program. Immediate family members (maximum of 4 per camper) are eligible to purchase a 50% off SeaWorld Orlando Single-Day Ticket.

Please note, after camp admission tickets are only available to purchase at camp check-out. Tickets are valid on the date of purchase only and are not eligible for SeaWorld’s Weather-or-Not Assurance program.

Please inform Camp Staff during check-in if you are interested in picking up your camper from inside the park. Please note, SeaWorld Camp Staff reserves the right to suspend or delay In-Park Camper Pick Up due to inclement weather.

As a reminder for the safety of all guests, campers, animals, and Ambassadors, family members of campers are not permitted to enter any behind-the-scenes area at any time.

We design events to be enjoyable and realize that sometimes the schedule includes something new for some participants. Everyone is encouraged to participate to the best of their ability during group activities.

6th-12th grade Camps have time allotted at one of SeaWorld’s gift shops to purchase a souvenir. Camp Staff will let these groups know which day has shopping time scheduled.

Please note, SeaWorld is a cashless park. We suggest Campers bring prepaid credit cards for shopping. SeaWorld accepts credit cards, debit cards, or smart devices with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Pre-K thru 5th grade Camps are not permitted to shop. If your Camper would still like to purchase a SeaWorld souvenir and you do not plan on visiting the park after Camp, there is a gift shop located outside of SeaWorld’s main entrance gate where your Camper can purchase a souvenir with no park admission ticket necessary. SeaWorld is not responsible for any items/money that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

While every zoo encounter is a controlled experience, the animal world is not totally predictable. Since they are frequently outdoors, campers may come in contact with mosquitoes, bees, or wasps, fire ants, or wild birds. These Florida pests can inflict bites or stings that are readily treatable with over-the-counter medications. It is imperative to note any known insect or plant allergies on the medical history form and be sure to sign the over-the-counter release. Sun, heat, and humidity can be a dangerous mix in Florida. Participants should wear sunscreen (not provided) and protective clothing (e.g. light, cotton clothing, a hat, and sunglasses) and drink plenty of water to prevent sunburn and overheating. Additionally, SeaWorld Orlando is a large park, so a lot of walking throughout the day is inevitable. Please dress your camper in closed toe, comfortable shoes, preferably sneakers. Crocs, flip-flops and dress shoes of any kind may cause blisters and are not recommended. Water shoes are recommended for camp days at Aquatica for the Thrill Seekers Camps. 

Head lice, impetigo, and ringworm are common childhood infections that are highly contagious. If Health Services staff identifies that your child is infected, we may be forced to send him or her home. Please evaluate any open wounds or irritations before sending your camper, to avoid any inconvenience or disappointment.

If someone else is picking up your camper in the afternoon, they must be listed as a Trusted Contact in the camper’s CampDoc profile. A mandatory I.D. check is in effect to pick up all campers. Only adults 18 years of age and older who have been authorized on the camper’s CampDoc profile are permitted to pick up the camper. There are no exceptions to this rule. All names in CampDoc profile must be legal names listed on identification, no nicknames or shortened names. Only government-issued identification will be accepted. Camp Staff will verify your I.D. against our authorized pick-up list and have you sign-out your camper(s). Anyone not indicated on the CampDoc profile who arrives to pick up a camper must be verified by Camp Staff via phone call directly to the parent/guardian. Under no exceptions will campers be released to an unauthorized individual without verbal consent directly from the parent/guardian. If we have any concerns, the camp supervisor will contact the parent/guardian for instructions before releasing a child.
