Something for Everyone at SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration

One of my favorite times of the year is Christmas and celebrating the holidays. Every year, I’m reminded of family and friends gathered around the dinner table and laughing until our cheeks hurt. But this year, we are doing something different and making our year merry and bright at SeaWorld! It’s our first Christmas Celebration at the park, and I can’t wait to share all the fun with my parents.

No matter what you like about the holidays, there is something for everyone this year at SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration! From fan-favorite shows to delicious sweets to festive lights, everyone can enjoy their favorite parts of the holidays in a fun and safe way. I’m here to help you make the most of your Christmas visit at SeaWorld Orlando.

MUST-SEE HOLIDAY SIGHTS

Every person I talk to mentions walking around and seeing the lights throughout the park! Each section is decorated to match the surrounding feeling of the area. Mako is decked out in purple lights to match the fastest coaster in the park. Infinity Falls calls on classic SeaWorld colors to make the atmosphere even more festive with a beautiful Christmas tree and my favorite light bridge to walk under. The Shoppes at Waterfront are decked sidewalk to ceiling with atmospheric lights and special performances like a live snow globe and toy soldiers.

Test your feet and balance while you skate across an ice rink in Bayside Stadium! Glide along the water of the central lagoon through a daytime wonderland with your friends and family. (Just make sure you wear long socks and bring gloves!)

If you like watching amazing talent and listening to everyone’s favorite songs, the shows are for you! Using the SeaWorld Orlando app, you can make sure you catch every show there is. Stop by Nautilus Theater to catch It’s a Wonderful Night: A New Story to Tell, an updated telling of the nativity story with some fun jabs at 2020. After catching his laugh-filled show, head over to Bayside Stadium to see the incredible ice skaters in Winter Wonderland on Ice, a fan favorite.

This year, you can catch the brand-new Holiday Reflections fireworks spectacular as it lights up the evening sky. This dazzling display can be seen from anywhere around the park and features new physical distancing markers.

FOR THOSE WITH KIDS

Shows are great for families with little ones too, but there’s even more for the kids to do! Celebrate the holiday season with furry friends over in Sesame Street Land. Kids can learn about Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa with Elmo, Grover, and Rosita as they sing and dance to their favorite holiday songs.

Visit the top of the world to meet the Arctic’s most famous resident, Santa Claus! Take home a one-of-a-kind, physically distanced photo as you pose in Santa’s sleigh with the jolly old elf seated above you.

Returning for another year, Rudolph’s Christmastown lets you take an outdoor stroll through a life-size storybook telling of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Meet characters from the classic tale including Rudolph and Bumble! After visiting the most famous reindeer of all, head over to the movie experience featuring Rudolph and his friends in a special-effects film for the whole family.

FOR SEAWORLD FOODIES

Discover delicious culinary food and drink and special holiday snacks throughout the park! Pick up a tasting lanyard to experience as many options as possible. Try a frozen hot chocolate (even if it’s cold outside) and a loaded churro sundae to really give your brain a sugar rush. Or dig into delicious battered fish tacos with a Jingle Juice cocktail to satisfy your seafood craving. There’s something for every flavor palate.
