Eat Your Way Through the Park – What’s New in Food & Beverage at SeaWorld San Diego

There’s no end of fun things to fill your day at SeaWorld San Diego, including endless options of delicious food and drinks to keep you going between rides and presentations. We’ve mapped out all the NEW and fan-favorite food & drink options for you to enjoy as you wander through the park.
Upon entering the park and walking through the iconic light tunnel, you’ll come across Explorer’s Café, which will be introducing new Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Blue Cheese Crumbles this spring!
Next door to Explorer’s Garden, you’ll find the NEW High Tide Brews, home to a multitude of delicious local craft beers including three from Mike Hess Brewing that are exclusive to SeaWorld San Diego!
There’s a lot packed into this area of the park so be sure to experience the thrill of Electric Eel, marvel at the animals in Wild Arctic, dive into the fastest, tallest dive coaster in California with Emperor, and take a walk with the penguins at Penguin Encounter! After all that, you’ll come across Calypso Bay Smokehouse, which will be introducing a Tri-Tip Mac & Cheese this spring that will add a new layer to your favorite comfort food!
From there, you’ll enjoy Turtle Reef and Shark Encounter before finding the NEW Discoveries Fresh Market! If you’re feeling snacky, this is a great pit stop to stock up on fresh, healthy snacks and grab & go food options you won’t find anywhere else in the park.
At this point you might be looking to take a break – there’s no better place than Waterfront! Opening back up in the Summer, Waterfront is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy mac & cheese bites, boneless wings, and a beautiful view of Mission Bay. For a bird’s eye view, hop on Bayside Skyride while you’re there!
When you’re ready for more fun, be sure to catch Sea Lion & Otter Spotlight! After enjoying the show and stopping to see the Sea Lions that reside at Sea Lion Point, you’ll find our two newest dining locations, Hibisco and Chicken Snack Shack! There’s plenty of delicious options to choose from at Hibisco, but you can’t miss the all-new Quesa-Birria Tacos. Make sure you dip them in the Consummé for maximum flavor! At Chicken Snack Shack, enjoy the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich made with our secret spicy blend or the Signature Snack Sandwich packed with a sweet and spicy glazed fried chicken patty, tangy slaw, and parmesan ranch. And you won’t want to miss the Funnel Fries for dessert!
Once you’ve had your fill, head over to the guest-favorite coaster Manta to feel the RUSH! Did you know that the Manta queue is also home to an aquarium of bat rays? After the ride, pop right over to the NEW Manta Pizza for a mouthwatering slice of cheese, pepperoni, or Margherita pizza!
When you’re ready for more fun, take a turn on Tidal Twister and splash into Shipwreck Rapids! Shipwreck Reef Café may be closed right now, but it will reopen this Summer with a fresh, new feel to complement the menu items you know and love. And don’t miss marveling at Orca Underwater Viewing!
You might be ready for a cocktail after all that delicious food – the NEW Underwater Cantina has you covered with a menu of delicious craft cocktails. Plus, if you visit on Fridays after 4 p.m., you can enjoy a special cocktail for $4 or a $2 12-oz draft beer!
Finally, wrap your day up with a sweet treat at the NEW Dreyer’s Ice Cream Parlor! Enjoy a traditional cone or indulge in a decadent sundae.
