Jeni Smith

Jeni Smith, Curator, SeaWorld Rescue

With 24 years of experience at SeaWorld, Jeni Smith has dedicated her career to animal care and conservation. Starting as an Animal Care Specialist, Jeni worked with a variety of species before advancing to her current role as a curator and supervisor with SeaWorld Rescue. In her leadership position, she oversees a team committed to the well-being of SeaWorld's animals, ensuring the highest standards of care and conservation efforts.
linsay boyd

Lindsay Boyd, Vice President of Design and Engineering

Lindsay Boyd started with SeaWorld back in 2006 as a Merchandise ambassador and has been with the company since. Lindsay remained with the Merchandise department for 10 years in various areas and positions and eventually moved into the Design & Engineering department, where she has been a Project Manager, Director and now Vice President. She received her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing her California Professional Engineering License in Civil Engineering. Her career highlights include leading the opening of Jewels of the Sea, a significant milestone in both professional and personal growth.

Jackie Plaza, Vice President of Marketing

Jackie Plaza joined the SeaWorld team in May 2024. Prior to that she had the honor of working for some of the most iconic brands in Los Angeles. With over 20 years of Marketing experience in lifestyle, hospitality and retail, Jackie is a results-oriented leader who is passionate about connection, collaboration and thinking outside of the box. She received her B.A. from Colgate University and her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University. In her personal time, she has volunteered internationally on human-rights missions in Vietnam, Thailand, Peru and Ghana, and is avid outdoors lover having trekking through parts of Central America and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.
