SeaWorld Dolphin Interaction - Texas Interaction with Dolphins

Discovery Point’s Dolphin Beach has a water depth of 20 inches. Perfect for groups who want to meet and play with dolphins in a shallow water setting. Your group will participate in unforgettable moments, and leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation for these magnificent marine mammals.

While the in-water portion of your interaction will last about 20 minutes, the overall experience included with your reservation lasts closer to 1 ½ hours.

Guests will need a bathing suit for this program. Please arrive to Discovery Point with your bathing suit already on.

Here’s what to expect during your In-Water Dolphin Beach Interaction:

Suit up: Your program includes a complimentary wetsuit vest and towel, all to be returned once finished. You’ll find a changing room with lockers and showers with soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Get ready: Before you enter the water, we’ll spend a few moments along the shore talking about these awesome animals, from their behavior to communication to some of our parks’ leadership in dolphin research and rescue. This includes Q&A with an animal ambassador.
Wade in: Accompanied by a trainer, you will wade into the shallow water and get acquainted with our dolphins through behaviors, feeds and rubdowns. This program does not include a dorsal fin tow and does not allow participants to enter deeper water depths.

All In-Water Dolphin Beach Interaction participants must be at least 48 inches tall to enter the water.

All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Observer tickets for Interactions at Dolphin Lagoon can be purchased at check-in with Discovery Point.

Check-in will begin at Discovery Point 15 minutes prior to the reservation time.

Reservation Confirmation is only valid for the date of your reservation.

There are limited spots available, and we cannot guarantee there will be room to add extra participants.

Know Before You Go
- Due to safety restrictions and pool water depth, all in-water participants must be at least 48" tall without shoes. Participants will be measured for this height requirement at check-in.
- Participants must remove all jewelry prior to entering the water.
- All participants should arrive for check-in wearing their bathing suit. You will be provided with a wetsuit vest and water shoes to wear during the program.
- Friends and family members who wish to stay and watch but are not participants will be able to purchase an observer ticket upon arrival at Discovery Point for $30. Minors cannot be observers without an adult. Observer space is limited and sold first come, first served.”
- All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Observer tickets for Interactions can be purchased at check-in with Discovery Point.
- Interaction participants are not permitted to take any cameras or electronic devices in the water with them, for the safety of our animals. Observers are permitted to bring one (1) camera or device to take pictures and videos of your program.

On this unforgettable experience, guests will participate in four of our in-water interaction programs: In-Water Dolphin Beach Interaction, In-Water Beluga Whale Interaction, In-Water Sea Lion Interaction, and the Stingray Encounter.

Penguin Interaction

Following an educational briefing from one of our educators, you will enter a charming and chilly world where you’ll encounter more than 100 penguins of various types, including the regal king penguin. Join us and enjoy the show as our penguins waddle and swim among the rocky cliffs and icy water of this wonderfully realistic habitat.
