There is something special about a dolphin that speaks to our heart. And entering the water with one is simply an unforgettable experience.
Within Discovery Point, there is a reserved lagoon for these once-in-a-lifetime experiences in the hopes of inspiring a deeper understanding and appreciation for these magnificent marine mammals.
While the in-water portion of your interaction will last about 20 minutes, the overall experience included with your reservation lasts closer to 1 ½ hours.
Here’s what to expect during your In-Water Dolphin Interaction:
Suit up: Your program includes a complimentary wetsuit and towel, all to be returned once finished. You’ll find a changing room with lockers and showers with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Get ready: Before you enter the water, we’ll spend a few moments along the shore talking about these awesome animals, from their behavior to communication to some of our parks’ leadership in dolphin research and rescue. This includes Q&A with an animal ambassador.
Wade in: Accompanied by a trainer, you will wade into the water and get acquainted with one of our dolphins through behaviors, feeds, and rubdowns, and a dorsal fin glide through the shallow end of the pool

All In-Water Dolphin Interaction participants must be at least 48 inches tall to enter the water.
All Jewelry MUST be removed prior to entering the water. This includes, but is not limited to: Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Anklets, Wristbands, Watches, Necklaces, Facial Piercings, & Hair Accessories such as Clips & Bobby Pins, permanent jewelry will NOT be allowed with the exception of a non-removable wedding band. Due to safety restrictions and pool water depth, all in-water participants must be at least 48" tall without shoes. Participants will be measured for this height requirement at check-in.
For your safety and safety of our animals, we kindly ask that all jewelry—including permanent jewelry—along with all piercings - including new piercings - and hair accessories be removed before entering the water. Permanent jewelry is not allowed. Our only exceptions are elastic hair ties, tight-fitting or non-removable wedding bands, and prescription glasses. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment.
Friends and family members who wish to stay and watch but are not participants will be able to purchase an observer ticket upon arrival at Discovery Point for $30. Minors cannot be observers without an adult. Observer space is limited and sold first come, first served.

Interaction participants are not permitted to take any cameras or electronic devices in the water with them, for the safety of our animals. Observers are permitted to bring one (1) camera or device to take pictures and videos of your program.
