Are you ready for a one-of-a kind experience only possible at SeaWorld San Antonio? Have an unforgettable adventure during this unique multi-species interaction program. First, enter the water to meet curious and gentle beluga whales. Then, get ready to be introduced to striking and acrobatic Pacific white-sided dolphins.

 

What to Expect During your Beluga Whale and Dolphin Interaction Program:

  • Suit up: Belugas and Pacific white-sided dolphins like it cold, so we’ll fit you for a wetsuit to help keep you warm. Complimentary wetsuit and towel are included, all to be returned after your program. You’ll find a changing room with lockers and showers with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
  • Hop aboard: After your orientation at Discovery Point, a shuttle will take you to Beluga Bay for the moment you’ve been waiting for.
  • Wade In: With the guidance of a trainer, you will ease into the waters at Beluga Bay and interact with the wonder beluga whales and Pacific white-sided dolphins.
  • Return to Discovery Point: After your unforgettable swim, you’ll be taken back to Discovery Point to change out of your wetsuit.

Know Before You Go

  • Due to safety restrictions and pool water depth, all in-water participants must be at least 48" tall without shoes. Participants will be measured for this height requirement at check-in.
  • Participants must remove all jewelry, piercings, and hair accessories prior to entering the water.
  • Guest must be able to stand, transfer themselves over pool walls, and climb stairs without assistance.
  • Medical casts are not allowed; prosthetics are on a case-by-case basis; hearing aids must be secured and tight-fitting.
  • Service Animals are allowed in the park, but not in the water or in Discovery Point vehicles. Service Animals must be left with a paid observer and cannot be left unattended.
  • Friends and family members who wish to stay and watch but are not participants will be able to purchase an observer ticket upon arrival at Discovery Point for $30. Minors cannot be observers without an adult. Observer space is limited and sold first come, first served.”
  • All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Observer tickets for Interactions can be purchased at check-in with Discovery Point.
  • Interaction participants are not permitted to take any cameras or electronic devices in the water with them, for the safety of our animals. Observers are permitted to bring one (1) camera or device to take pictures and videos of your program.
  • Check-in will begin at Discovery Point 15 minutes prior to the reservation time.
  • Reservation Confirmation is only valid for the date of your reservation.
  • There are limited spots available and we cannot guarantee there will be room to add extra participants.
  • Program times, prices, components and animal participation are subject to change.
  • This program is non-refundable with less than 48 hours advanced notice of cancellation.
