Enjoy a family-friendly, festive pumpkin paradise with beautiful views of Mission Bay. Come see our festive decorations, photo ops, food, and roaming live music throughout the day. Located at the Waterfront in the back of the park.

“The Scurvy Squad”
Ahoy there mateys! Come sing along and dance with a fun crew of singing pirates, The Scurvy Squad, as they serenade you with sea shanties old and new. Enjoy this energetic performance filled with pirate-y songs and a toe-tapping good time! Locations vary throughout the day, including Waterfront Pumpkin Patch and Shipwreck Pathway.
ALL-NEW! Story Time With the Captain
Experience the all-new animatronic story time show at SeaWorld! Enjoy a thrilling tale from two pirate skeletons, Captain Sweet Tooth and First Mate Peggy, as they relive their most recent plundering adventure. Located near the Candy Quest and Waterfront area.
ALL-NEW! Captain Sweet Tooth’s Pirate-y Cavalcade
Enjoy SeaWorld’s ALL-NEW Spooktacular Cavalcade! Join infamous candy pirate, Captain Sweet Tooth, and his salty crew, for a swashbuckling cavalcade to begin the Spooktacular festivities. Enjoy themed floats, vibrantly costumed pirate crew, and a nostalgic musical throwback to a previous SeaWorld show, Pirates of Pinniped! Cavalcade begins at the Whale Shop, travels through the front of park and returns back to the Whale Shop.

Infamous candy pirate Captain Sweet Tooth invites you to embark on your own pirate adventure with a treasured reward! Be greeted by a pirate crew member who will set your course to find a secret word hidden within various pirate-themed sets. This secret word has the power to unlock a sweet treasure that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Located on the lawn at the back of the park between Bayside Amphitheatre and Waterfront. Open during trick-or-treat hours.
O.P. Otter’s Spooktacular Surprise
Get into the Halloween spirit with trickster O.P. Otter and his SeaWorld character friends at the O.P. Otter’s Spooktacular Surprise! Join them for a Halloween costume party and celebrate fun fall traditions through song and dance. Playing several times a day at Mission Bay Theater.

Find waves of Halloween fun when costumed youngsters trick-or-treat for ghoulish goodies. Each candy station on our trick-or-treat trail features an assortment of favorites after 4 p.m. on Fridays and after 2 p.m. to park close on Saturdays & Sundays. Reusable candy bag must be purchased in order to participate in trick-or-treating.

Choose from a variety of fun and not-so spooky candy bag designs for your trick-or-treating adventure! A SeaWorld reusable candy bag is required to participate in the candy trail, and is available for purchase at any retail location for only $4.99. Discounted for Pass Members!

Back by popular demand is the celebration of the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos. Large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues will welcome guests as they discover ofrendas (offerings) of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have passed.

Costumes
All guests are welcome to dress up in costumes. Guests who are ages 13 and older may not wear costume masks or hoods, and all costumes are subject to the normal dress code for the park. In addition, face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.
