The Fiesta Continues with Viva La Música Weekend Two at SeaWorld San Diego!
Viva La Música is SeaWorld San Diego’s annual vibrant Latin festival, with sensational Latin music and incredible cuisine in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The festival kicked off last Friday and it’s shaping up to be even bigger than last year!
For the first time ever, SeaWorld hosted SoCal Taco for an unforgettable two-day opening weekend event for Viva La Música. It was a fiesta like never-before! There were even MORE tacos to sample and savor, exciting entertainment like Lucha Libre Wrestling and adorable Chihuahua Beauty Pageants in partnership with Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego County. You could sing your heart out at the Karaoke Stage or enjoyed refreshing margaritas and Micheladas. (Didn’t I say this year was bigger?)
AND to finish off the SoCal Taco Fest-filled day? A concert at our amazing Bayside Amphitheater!

There couldn’t have been a better way to kick off Viva La Música! We hoped you were there, because it was a blast! I know I had fun, enjoying some tacos, Lucha Libre wrestling, AND getting to see La Sonora Dinamita perform at Bayside Amphitheater. It was truly an amazing, fun-packed weekend.
The best part? The fiesta continues!! So, if you missed out opening weekend of Viva La Música, there’s no need to worry. The festival is here for two more weekends with even more fun to be had and while SoCal Taco Fest is not happening this weekend, the concerts most definitely will! And that is one of my favorite parts!
Viva La Música has amazing artists and performances every year and this year is no exception. This weekend, enjoy a special performance by Banda Maguey. You do not want to miss out on this show, with a powerful brass and high energy technobanda sound, you will be on your feet, dancing the entire time! Then come out the following weekend as we close out Viva La Música with unforgettable night as La Original Banda El Limon performs their classic banda hits!
