What’s New at SeaWorld San Diego Christmas Celebration
The festivities and holiday spirit are shining brighter than ever at the park as over one million Christmas lights illuminate every corner of the park for the first time, creating a SeaWorld San Diego light festival.
ALL-NEW additions include:
- Clyde & Seamore’s Christmas Special, a SeaWorld San Diego Sea Lion Christmas
- Toymaker Trouble with Mrs. Claus and the Elves, a SeaWorld San Diego kids show and Storytime
- Jingle Squad, a SeaWorld San Diego holiday special of live singers
The first must-see of this year’s additions is the ALL-NEW Clyde & Seamore’s Christmas Special. This heartwarming, Christmas-themed sea lion special will touch your hearts and become an instant family favorite making the perfect SeaWorld San Diego Christmas family event. Without spoiling the fun, the special spotlights SeaWorld’s beloved prank-loving pinnipeds, Clyde and Seamore, as they team up with their trainers —and a very special guest!—to get ready for Christmas. After watching Clyde and Seamore tackle Christmas in their holiday special, it’s your turn to venture through the park and take in all the holiday wonders waiting at every corner.
Everywhere you turn, dazzling lights enchant your imagination, and at every corner, entertainment pulls you deeper into the winter wonderland. At Holiday Plaza, near the Christmas Shoppe, discover the ALL‑NEW Toymaker Trouble with Mrs. Claus and her merry elves, along with the ALL‑NEW Jingle Squad—two exciting additions that bring even more festive cheer to the season.
Toymaker Trouble with Mrs. Claus and the Elves is perfect for all ages, and a beautiful way to learn about the importance of Holiday spirit as you follow the story of Toymaker Elf Sparky and their lack of Christmas spirit. But no worries! Mrs. Claus is here to help spark their Christmas spirit once more to finish Santa’s final order. With an array of practical effects, this festive show demonstrates what makes Christmas truly special.
The Jingle Squad is an amazingly talented trio of musicians, singing carols surrounded by Christmas lights. The perfect way to get into the festive spirit is by singing along to the joyful tunes and one of our favorite SeaWorld San Diego holiday family shows.

A Warm Welcome to All
SeaWorld San Diego is a park made for everyone! In addition to our Christmas Celebration, we also host a SeaWorld San Diego Hanukkah as well as Kwanzaa Festivities. Each holiday has its own designated area where you can honor the spirit of the season. From December 14–22, guests can gather each evening to witness the Menorah’s radiant glow, automatically lit nightly, honoring the spirit of Hanukkah. Then, from December 26–January 1, the kinara shines brightly each night, celebrating the guiding principles of Kwanzaa.
