The opening of Arctic Rescue is racing toward us, so you know what that means - Passport to Thrills is BACK! If you’re not already a Pass Member, there’s no better time to join and participate in the 2023 Passport to Thrills challenge.
If you’re a Pass Member, 2023 Passport to Thrills is the ONLY way to get front-of-the-line access to the new coaster once it opens. The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to visit SeaWorld San Diego three times between now and April 30, 2023. With all the fun of Mardi Gras (now through February 26) and Seven Seas Food Festival (returning bigger and better than ever March 3 through April 30), it’ll be a breeze to fill three days at the park with fun, food, and family memories!
If you complete the challenge, you will receive a FREE one-time Quick Queue for Arctic Rescue! The Quick Queue can be used to ride the coaster from its opening day until June 30, 2023.
Joining SeaWorld San Diego’s other thrill rides, Arctic Rescue will be the longest and fastest straddle coaster on the West Coast! This family-friendly multi-launch ride invites you to hop on a snowmobile and race through the unpredictable arctic climate to help animals in danger due to Arctic sea ice loss. Our coolest new coaster will feature a unique snowmobile style vehicle that allows for an immersive ride experience as you lean into turns and glide up heights as tall as 30 feet!
The ride is inspired by the heroic efforts of the SeaWorld Rescue Team and their dedication to rescuing animals in distress and in need of care. Arctic Rescue is incorporated in the Wild Arctic exhibit which is home to a ringed seal, walruses, and belugas, some of the species most impacted by Arctic sea loss. The new ride will bring awareness to the pressures the Arctic is facing and allow you to visit, see and learn more about each animal whose species call the Arctic their home.
