12 Days of Passmas - A New SeaWorld San Diego Christmas Tradition

With the holidays around the corner and SeaWorld San Diego’s Christmas Celebration in full swing, the spirit of giving is everywhere. This year, we’re delighted to share something extra special with our beloved Pass Members to make the season even sweeter.

 

This ALL-NEW Pass Member initiative, 12 Days of Passmas, started on Friday, December 12, where Pass Members can visit the park and enjoy exclusive holiday offerings every day through Tuesday, December 23. From precious moments with Santa at Yoga to unleashing your creative side with our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest or Holiday Crafts event, each day is perfectly tailored to you and creating unforgettable holiday memories! And that’s not all—these Pass Member exclusives come alongside dazzling new entertainment and the return of fan-favorite traditions that make our Christmas Celebration truly wonderous.

 

Day 1: Holly Jolly Happy Hour with Exclusive Pass Member Drink Menu

Friday, December 12, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – Park Close

What better way to kick off the festivities than with Happy Hour? We hope you headed over to Underwater Cantina or High Tide Brews and grabbed one of the secret menu items that was only exclusively available for Pass Members. With your drink in-hand and the lights twinkling around you as you enjoy all our Christmas Celebration has to offer, that’s the perfect way to celebrate the season.

 

Day 2: A Christmas Wish Fireworks & Mission Bay Parade of Lights

Saturday, December 13, 2025, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

On Day 2 of Passmas, the sky lit up with our annual Christmas firework show and the best part? This dazzling display kicked off the spectacular Parade of Lights, hosted by Discover Mission Bay. This year, Pass Members had a front row access to the beginning of the parade. This explosion of lights created the perfect atmosphere for the holiday season.

 

Day 3: Morning Family Yoga with Santa at Waterfront

Sunday, December 14, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Even Santa needs to find his flow during the holidays, which is why for Day 3 of Passmas, we invited Pass Members to join us for Morning Family Yoga at Waterfront with Mr. Santa Claus! This yoga session was for all ages, and we especially encouraged parents to bring their little ones. It was a wonderful way to start your morning before a day in the park, experiencing all kinds of thrills and Christmas fun.

Day 5: Exclusive Pass Member Dessert

Day 6: Christmas Trivia

Put your holiday knowledge to the test. For Day 6 of Passmas, gather your most knowledgeable crew and join us for Christmas Trivia over at Explorer’s Café. Sign yourself or your team up before the event and be prepared to face of against other fellow Pass Members.

 

Day 7: Christmas Social Media Challenge

For Day 7 of Passmas, take part in our festive Christmas Social Media Challenge while you visit the park for a chance to be featured on our Instagram feed!

Here’s how to participate:

• Share three photos of yourself enjoying three different Christmas Celebration activations at the park.

Day 8: Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest

Friday, December 19, 2025, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

For Day 8 of Passmas, our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest is BACK! And what better day for this competition than on National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day. Join us at Nautilus Amphitheater for a festive evening of friendly Pass Member competition hosted by Park President Tyler Carter.

Wear your most creative ugly Christmas sweater for a chance to win amazing prizes:

• 1st Place: $500 Cash Prize
• 2nd Place: Your choice of Dolphin Up-Close Encounter, Beluga Up-Close Encounter, or Walrus Up-Close Encounter for up to 2 guests

Day 9: Morning Yoga with Penguins

Day 9 of Passmas brings another chance to find your flow at SeaWorld San Diego. This time surrounded by the cool vibes of the Southern Hemisphere and one of our most beloved birds, Penguins! Bundle up as you stretch and pose, the perfect way to start your day in the park. Make sure to RSVP now to reserve your spot!

 

Day 10: Get Creative & Festive with Holidays Crafts

Sunday, December 21, 2025, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Bring your holiday spirit and let your creativity shine! Join us for an afternoon of festive crafting fun—make ornaments, holiday décor, and personalized keepsakes to celebrate the season. Perfect for all ages, so bring the whole family and create memories together! Head over to Nautilus Pavilion from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to unleash your creativity. RSVP now.

 

Day 11: Exclusive Pass Member Showtime of ALL-NEW Clyde and Seamore’s Christmas Special

Pass Members, this one’s just for you! Laugh, cheer, and enjoy holiday magic with your favorite sea lion duo in a show packed with surprises and seasonal joy, and this performance will be just for Pass Members!

 

Day 12: Decorate a Christmas Tree & Christmas Letters to Santa

Tuesday, December 23, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Help us decorate a beautiful Christmas tree and write heartfelt letters to Santa. Whether you’re adding ornaments or sharing your holiday wishes, this festive experience is sure to make the season bright for kids and kids-at-heart.
