The first-ever SeaWorld in San Diego opened its doors on March 21, 1964 - and to commemorate that day, SeaWorld Orlando is celebrating in a major way!
To kick off our year-long 60th Anniversary celebration, SeaWorld Orlando will pay homage to the first SeaWorld park with a 4-day celebration at park open.

Join our Park President, Jon Peterson, each morning as he welcomes SeaWorld guests at the front of the park with the ultimate anniversary celebration, filled with live entertainment, commemorative décor, photo ops and more! This ceremony will be held at park open each day, March 21-24 and guests will receive a cupcake, while supplies last.
Shamu & Crew Character Meet and Greet
For the first time in recent years, see Shamu & Crew together again and take a commemorative photo with them. Kids of all ages will love meeting Shamu, Coral the Dolphin, Sydney the Shark, Shivers the Polar Bear, Puck the Penguin, and Flip the Sea Lion at park open each day March 21 – 24!
Photos & Memorabilia
Visit the Pass Member lounge to view a special gallery of historic photos and memorabilia from the park over the past 60 years. PLUS, memorable moments from guests and ambassadors will play on screens throughout the park. All starting March 21. Share your images and videos of your favorite SeaWorld memories using #SeaWorld60.
