KareKare Curl - A Thrilling Staple at Aquatica Orlando

Surf’s up! Aquatica Orlando is proud to announce that our newest attraction, KareKare Curl is a thrill to all those who brave its twists and turns!
Since we’ve opened, we have made it our mission to bring the most exciting, cutting edge water slides to Orlando, and with our newest addition, we’ve continued this mission! KareKare Curl is the park’s steepest slide, and seats up to three people for maximum fun!
We pulled inspiration from Auckland, New Zealand, where KareKare beach is one of the most popular surf spots in the world. "KareKare" means “wave” while "curl" means “curve-shaped”, and the premier feature of the slide is exactly that: a massive curve-shaped wave! Defying gravity has never been so fun!
The water slide starts off with riders going through a traditional water slide tunnel full of twists and turns and in the blink of an eye, riders are flying up a vertical wave wall or the “curl” that is built to replicate surf wave. Catching the perfect wave is something that every surfer dreams of, and with KareKare Curl you can catch all the fun of surfing right in Aquatica Orlando! No transatlantic flight needed!
After riders come down from the curl, they splash through one last tunnel into a catch pool for the perfect watery ending. We wanted everyone to experience KareKare Curl’s perfect wave, so this ride is perfect for those that meet the 48" height requirement.
