Week-Long Resident and Career Camps

Become an expert on aquatic life as you immerse yourself in the behind-the-scenes world animal care. Resident Camp and Career Camp provide experiences including, but not limited to:

• A hands-on look at animal care career positions
• Offsite excursions
• Interacting with a bottlenose dolphin
• Meeting Veterinarians, Veterinarian Technicians
• Meeting the Rescue Team
• Enjoying park rides, shows and attractions.

The program runs for 5 days, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and ending at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, select weeks June through August. Camp fees include lodging, meals, field trips, two SeaWorld Camp t-shirts and a water bottle, as well as transportation to and from the San Diego airport or train terminal on arrival and departure dates.

Resident Camp Grades 5-6 (Female)

Five terrific days filled with adventure, discovery, and surprise! Get to know dolphins, penguins, sharks, and more. Go behind the scenes and learn how we care for these amazing animals. At SeaWorld camp, you'll make plenty of two-legged and four-flippered friends. Offsite excursions including boogie-boarding, kayaking, and the beach are all part of the adventure. And there's plenty of time for SeaWorld fun, so you'll have a blast with our water rides and shows.

Resident Camp includes the following experiences, to name a few:

  • Touch, feed and take a picture with a bottlenose dolphin
  • Hand-feed stingrays
  • Kayak and boogie board on field trips to the beach
  • Enjoy all of SeaWorld’s great rides, shows and attractions
  • Learn more about animals and how we care for them as you encounter penguins, sharks, sea turtles and more up-close

The program runs for 5 days, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and ending at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Career Camp Grades 10-12 (Female)

Product Image Career Camp
This camp provides a realistic, hands-on look at what is involved with animal care career positions at SeaWorld. Meet and work with SeaWorld animal experts to prepare animal food, clean up, and interact with marine animals in real-life situations. You’ll visit several animal areas throughout the week and learn in-depth information about SeaWorld animals. A typical day will involve waking up early, spending the morning and early afternoon learning about an animal area, and spending the late afternoon and evening enjoying all SeaWorld has to offer.

  • Suit up in a wetsuit to get in the water with dolphins at our Animal Care Center
  • Prepare Penguin Encounter exhibit by preparing fish, cleaning habitats and feeding penguins
  • Perform on stage for other campers at Sea Lion & Otter Stadium
  • Go behind-the-scenes to meet our Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians and Animal Rescue Team
  • Enjoy all of SeaWorld’s great rides, shows and attractions
