Pin Trading is Coming to SeaWorld San Diego

Get ready to have fun at SeaWorld San Diego like never before, because an all-new, interactive pin trading experience is coming to the park starting Saturday, Feb. 24!

Here’s how pin trading works:

• Find a SeaWorld ambassador or guest at the park wearing a pin trading lanyard. Ambassadors with lanyards can be found throughout the park in gift shops, theaters, the front gate and the park’s entrance.
• Look at their collection and select your favorite pin.
• Trade one of your pins in exchange for one of their pins to add to your lanyard!

You may trade up to three pins per SeaWorld ambassador per day. Keep in mind that only pins on lanyards are available for trading with ambassadors. If there’s a guest who’s interested in trading pins with you, go right ahead and trade with them!

The best way to get ahead of the game? Start collecting your favorite SeaWorld pins now so that you’re all set for the big day on Saturday, Feb. 24 when trading begins with ambassadors and other guests. You can even score new collectible pins to grow your collection! Pins and lanyards are available for purchase now at the SeaWorld Store, located at the front of the park.

Here are more details to help you get started:

Core
Core pins feature SeaWorld animals and are available to purchase until they are retired.

Collections
Collection pins are an assortment of pins that all relate to each other. A collection may be added to year after year.

Series
A series is a set of pins that are identified as a group. Make sure to collect the whole series!

Limited Edition
Limited edition pins are available in smaller quantities for a specific time or until they sell out. Get limited edition pins right away as they’ll be hard to find later on.

Special Edition
Special edition pins are available only for a limited time only and feature many SeaWorld icons. These pins will go fast, so get them while they’re hot!

Retired Pins
Once a pin is retired, it will no longer be produced. These are identified with a retirement label.

Annual Pass Member Pins

Accessories
Accessories are non-pin items that enhance your pin collecting and trading experience, and include an assortment of lanyards and pouches.
