For nearly 60 years, SeaWorld’s expert animal behaviorists, aquarists, zoologists, and veterinarians have cared for one of the most diverse collections of animals. Our teams support our mission for rescue, rehabilitation, and return.

Accredited and certified

Fewer than 10% of the ~2,800 animal exhibitors licensed by the USDA have met AZA standards, and we are one of them. We make sure our marine habitats support animal welfare and are engaging spaces to educate guests.

With more than 42,000 rescues to date, SeaWorld is one of the largest marine animal rescue organizations in the world. Our team of animal care, veterinary and animal rescue experts are available 24/7 to protect and return animals to the wild.
