Beluga Interaction Program

This in-water interaction lets you touch and feed these sociable white whales as animal behaviorists share how we’ve used encouragement-based training to communicate with these warm-hearted residents of the cold Arctic waters.

Few places in the world offer such an up-close, unique interaction with these animals – one we hope will inspire you to learn more about a remarkable species, listed as near threatened in the wild overall and in some places endangered. This rare opportunity is limited to just a few guests each day.

If under 14 years of age, you must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.

Reservation includes the Beluga Interaction Program on day and time of your reservation only. Park admission is not included with your program reservation but is required. Due to the special nature of this program, space is limited and early reservations are recommended. Small groups will be combined to form a program group of about 8 guests. Overall program includes a trainer led-in water orientation and beluga whale interaction; program lasts approximately 60 minutes and the in-water interaction portion lasts approximately 20 minutes, subject to change. Reservation includes a souvenir towel. Participants must be at least 50 inches or taller, and in good health & physical condition. Participants under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult. Swimming is not part of the program but participants should be comfortable in waist/chest deep water. All participants, or legal guardian, will be required to sign a liability release form before beginning the program. Participants will be required to wear a SeaWorld-issued wet suit with booties during the in-park interaction. Participants need to provide their own personal swimsuit to wear underneath the wetsuit provided when doing the program. Participants remove all jewelry prior to entering the water. A shower facility with lockers, soap, shampoo, hair dryers and personal lockers is available for the duration of the interaction. No smoking is permitted at any time. Photographers will be available during the interaction with photos available for purchase afterwards for an additional fee. Dates, program, prices and event offerings are subject to change without notice. All events are subject to change and/or cancellation due to animal availability. Events are not cancelled due to inclement weather; programs will still be offered except in the event of lightning. Cancellation Policy: cancellations 45 days or more before your reservation date will result in a full refund; cancellations 30-44 days before your reservation date will include a $10 fee per participant with the balance refunded; cancellations 8-29 days before your reservation date will result in half of your reservation being refunded; cancellations within 7 days of your reservation date will not be refunded. Cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions or discounts. Non-replaceable, non-transferable, not for resale and cannot be redeemed for cash. Void if altered and photocopies will not be accepted. Pass Member discount is available when logged in with Pass Member account.
