Magellanic Penguins
Not all penguins live in ice and snow! Magellanic penguins are found in warm climates along the coasts of Chile and Argentina. They are equipped with bare patches of skin around their eyes and at the base of their bill to release body heat. These penguins dig burrows to protect their eggs from predators and extreme temperatures. They feed on a variety of small fishes, crustaceans and squid.
