One Night Only at SeaWorld San Antonio

Gather family and friends and spend one spooky night inside SeaWorld San Antonio. Led by our Education team, you'll get to know our animals through Halloween-themed activities, games, and up-close encounters.

After the gates close, your group heads out on a night tour of the park, with optional visits through Howl-O-Scream haunts along the way. To finish the night, snuggle in your personal tent at Explorer's Reef, falling asleep to sharks, barracudas and tropical fish gliding past the viewing windows.

Spooky Family Sleepover

Spend a night inside SeaWorld San Antonio after the park closes. You'll get to know our animals through Halloween-themed activities, games, and up-close encounters, then head out on an after-dark tour of the park with optional visits to Howl-O-Scream haunts. At the end of the night, cozy up in your personal tent at Explorer's Reef and fall asleep next to our sharks and barracudas, just on the other side of the glass.

Get ready for a spooky sleepover at SeaWorld. Check-in is at 5:00 PM and the program ends at 10:00 AM the next morning.
The evening starts with a buffet dinner, then moves into Halloween-themed activities, games, and up-close animal encounters led by our Education team. Then, tour the park after dark, with optional visits to Howl-O-Scream haunts along the way.
When it's time for bed, everyone settles in at Explorer's Reef, where our sharks, barracudas and tropical fish swim by on the other side of the glass. Each participant gets an A-frame tent with a canopy, an inflatable twin air mattress, and themed bedding, plus a snack before lights-out and breakfast in the morning. Everyone takes home a SeaWorld t-shirt, patch, and reusable water bottle.

Cancellations up to 48 hours before program start date are refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours of event date are reviewed case-by-case at the Education team's discretion. This ticket covers the Spooky Family Sleepover and Evening Program only. It does not include admission to SeaWorld San Antonio or Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark™, or parking, taxes, shipping, or service fees. All components and activities subject to change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the price include park admission?

No. Your sleepover fee covers the overnight program only. You can secure your admission here .

Are the haunts right for my family?

Haunt visits are entirely optional and left to each party's judgment. Howl-O-Scream houses are designed to scare and are not recommended for younger children. Let your counselor know if your group would rather skip them.

Who can come?

Participants must be at least 5 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered and paying the full fee.

What do we sleep on?

Tents are provided. Bring a pillow and sleeping bag. Air mattresses and cots are not permitted, since you may be asked to carry your luggage to the venue. Mats and foam pads are welcome if they are twin size or smaller, no thicker than two inches, and do not need an electric pump.

What if the weather turns?

Sleepovers are not canceled for rain, and check-in may be extended if there is lightning in the area. In the event of severe weather, sleepover leadership will contact you directly.
