This little rescued dolphin has captured all of our hearts here at SeaWorld Rescue since he arrived in July in need of life saving intensive care support. Since he’s just as special to you as he is to us, we’d welcome your help in choosing his name!
In July 2022, this baby dolphin was rescued from Clearwater Beach in Florida, found struggling and tangled in the remnants of crab trap lines. Once freed, rescuers tried to release him back into open water but he was unable to swim on his own and his mom was nowhere in sight. He was then transported off-site for critical care. Arriving at SeaWorld Orlando unresponsive and unable to swim on his own, he was immediately placed into intensive care with teams working around the clock to save his life. Now bottle feeding, swimming on his own, and healing from his injuries, he is making good progress in his recovery.
