Calling all thrill-seekers! Adventure awaits on SeaWorld San Antonio’s newest wooden roller coaster, the Texas Stingray debuting this spring.

 
Texas Stingray will be the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden coaster in Texas, featuring a 100 foot drop, 3,379 feet of track, and a max speed of 55 mph.

This exciting attraction will be new to SeaWorld San Antonio’s rider experience and park skyline. The ride will feature a 100-foot-long tunnel, as well as multiple banks and turns, some at angles approaching 80 degrees. It will also provide riders with 16 wow-worthy moments of “air time” when passengers will feel a lift from their seats. 

The new Texas Stingray will be located across the Turtle Reef exhibit between Orca Stadium and the Rio Loco Rapids River and is being manufactured by Great Coasters International, an award-winning roller coaster manufacturer based out of Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Upon opening this spring it will take its place as Texas’ tallest, fastest and longest wooden coaster, and join the ranks of the other exciting coasters SeaWorld San Antonio has to offer.
