Let’s Take an Elfie: Best Christmas Photo Spots at SeaWorld San Diego

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… for a great photo! We have put together a list of some of the BEST spots at SeaWorld San Diego to take your ELFIE this year.

1. Tunnel of Lights

Walk through a shimmering tunnel of over 5,000 lights that change colors and patterns along with the music! Snap a few photos or create your next TikTok video. Make sure to do a little holiday dancing and prancing!  

2. Santa's Sleigh at Sky Tower Lawn

Sleigh it at your photo shoot! Santa was kind enough to let us borrow his backup sleigh this holiday season. Grab your holiday crew and get your photo inside it!

3. Sesame Street Christmas Village

Here, treetops glisten with twinkling lights and families can enjoy physically distanced photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends in their festive holiday attire.

4. 25-Foot Christmas Tree at Wild Arctic Plaza

This tree features a star and starfish! Gaze in amazement at the twinkling lights and colorful magic of our 25-foot sea-themed Christmas tree, located at Wild Arctic plaza. *CLICK* 

5. Sparkly Fish

‘Tis the season to sparkle. This spot is o-fish-ially a fan favorite! It’s up all year round, but it does remind us of giant *shiny* Christmas ornaments.

6. Christmas Celebration Postcards

Oh good, you found a postcard big enough to fit all your Christmas wishes. Snap a pic, send it to your friends and say “wish you were here.” 

7. Photos with Santa

There are a couple ways to snap a pic safely with Old Saint Nick this year. Head to the patio of Explorer’s Cafe for these photo ops:

Cookies with Santa: Enjoy Santa’s favorite snack while he tells you a Christmas story, all from your single-party outdoor table. Then take a physically distanced photo with the big man himself to commemorate the fun! Book your reservation. Reservation includes: cookies, 2 photos with frame, 1 photo ornament, 2 keychains, 2 magnets, 2 digital images, and a reusable bag. 

Photos with Santa: If you just want to grab a quick snap with Santa, reserve yours for free at the Christmas Shoppe. Available daily at 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Experience is free, but a Photo Key is available for purchase.
