From Park to Planet, to Plate: How SeaWorld San Antonio Brings Eco-Friendly Dishes From Sea to TableMay 25, 2018
Your visit to SeaWorld San Antonio not only allows you to make connections with our animals that last a lifetime, but it also supports SeaWorld’s efforts to help keep our oceans clean and rescue 31,000 animals and counting.
You can support Park to Planet in a delicious way! The Seven Seas Food Festival, SeaWorld San Antonio’s tastiest voyage, is in its fourth year and the delectable dishes have helped SeaWorld continue our efforts to protect our oceans and its species. Scott Ronczkowski, Executive Chef for SeaWorld San Antonio, dives into how each dish’s ingredients are environmentally sustainable, as well as the materials used to make and serve them.
“The ingredients we use to create these dishes are all from sustainable sources, which means guests can feel good about what they’re eating,” Ronczkowski said. “Sustainable fishing ensures that there are healthy populations of fish left in the ocean while also providing dishes that take guests on a voyage of flavor from around the world. We monitor those populations and fish accordingly.”
The Seven Seas Food Festival is SeaWorld’s way of bringing the taste of the seven seas to you! Dishes from the Pacific Rim to the South Atlantic to the sun-kissed Mediterranean will delight your taste buds and take you on a culinary voyage. Along the way, guests explore dishes from the exotic to the classics at specially- themed festival locations throughout the park. These fantastic culinary creations are paired with a global collection of unique wines, craft cocktails and imported beers. Enjoy other offerings, like live music, strolling entertainers and special VIP experiences, all in a festival-style atmosphere. Lastly, you can be confident knowing that the dishes you eat are created with the health of our oceans and its wildlife in mind. As you sip and sample your way around the Seven Seas Food Festival, you are helping our mission to see it here, save it there. The Seven Seas Food Festival continues through May 28th.
