Have you ever wondered what it takes to be on the SeaWorld Rescue Team? Curious to see what the topside of a shark aquarium looks like? This unique event will take you behind the scenes and give you an inside look at what it takes to maintain a premier zoological institution like SeaWorld Orlando. Hear and see, firsthand, what goes into providing world-class animal care from the people who do it every day.
This event happens on January 13 - 15 and January 20 - 21 and is included with park admission. Inside Look Experience/Tour locations open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on event days.
Animals, caregivers, and activities in each area are subject to change.
Inside Look
Get an all-access glimpse at the habitats of your favorite animals. See them up close, speak with their SeaWorld caretakers, and learn how you can do your part to protect them in the wild. It’s a one-of-a-kind event that’s sure to inspire you!

1 - NEW! Inside Marine Mammal Care + Dolphin Nursery
Ever wonder how you prepare a feast for a pod of dolphins and care for them throughout the day? Step behind the scenes and get a glimpse of what it takes at SeaWorld, from food preparation at the fish house to an all-new poolside experience at Dolphin Nursery led by our animal care specialists.
Guests must reserve tickets in-person at the Check-In-Location directly across from Flamingo Gifts for this experience. Ticket distribution at 11am. Available on a first come, first served basis with limited quantities available. Tickets will secure guests a presentation time, but this time is based on first available and can’t be chosen or requested.
2 - Inside SeaWorld Rescue Center
Visit the home base of the SeaWorld Rescue Team to meet and hear from the dedicated filtration experts, animal care personnel, lab technicians, and veterinarians who work around the clock to deliver life-saving care to animals in need.
3 - Inside Coral Rescue
Join our Coral Biologists to learn more about the work we are doing to protect and preserve Florida’s Coral Reef. Corals are colonial animals critical to the health and wellbeing of our oceans. Coral reefs are the rainforests of the ocean, providing habitat and stability to the marine ecosystem. Join or biologists and discuss the current state of our reefs every 30 minutes, 11am - 5pm, in the Coral Rescue Center located at the SeaWorld Rescue Center underwater viewing venue.
4 - Inside Manta Aquarium
Get a topside view at Manta Aquarium and discover how our aquarist care for the 10 unique aquariums and more than 3,000 marine animals including corals, tropical fish, and sharks that call this aquarium home. You don’t have to be a coaster enthusiast to experience this beautiful awe-inspiring exhibit. This location is not ADA accessible.
5 - Inside Pacific Point Preserve
Take a behind-the-scenes look at the home of our California sea lions and harbor seals. Hear stories and gain insights from the animal care specialists who care for them every day and learn what it takes to maintain a thriving sea lion social group. This location is not ADA accessible.
6 - Inside Shark Encounter
Get a topside view at Shark Encounter and unlock the mysteries of caring for the sharks and sawfish in SeaWorld’s 700,000-gallon shark habitat. Visit the medical pool and learn how we give annual physicals. See the moving walkway that temporarily divides the exhibit for cleaning and discover how we feed our sharks. This location is not ADA accessible.
7 - NEW! Inside Avian Research
Join our Aviculturists backstage to see our behind-the-scenes, warm-weather penguin colony. Get an insider look into a day in the life of a Magellanic Penguin. Located at the entry near Mama's Pretzel Kitchen. This experience ends at 5:00pm.
8 - Inside Wild Arctic
Step behind the scenes into the maze of back hallways that provide service access to the beluga whales and harbor seals that call Wild Arctic home. Plus, meet the team members who spend their days caring for these incredible animals.
