Physically Distant Halloween Activities in Orlando
October 7, 2020Fortunately, SeaWorld Orlando is offering two physically distant fall activities for families this year. SeaWorld’s Spooktacular, a long-standing not-so-scary event that has been providing Halloween family fun in Orlando for over a decade, is back with all-new safety procedures. Meanwhile, Flicks & Frights is a brand-new outdoor drive-in movie experience where you enjoy family-friendly Halloween films from the comfort of your car.
SeaWorld’s Spooktacular
Get the costumes ready (you too, parents), because Halloween is alive at SeaWorld Orlando! Kids and families can enjoy all the amazing attractions and animals SeaWorld has to offer, plus a wide variety of fall-themed activities including distanced character meet-and-greets, a Halloween maze, and contactless trick-or-treating.Each candy station on our trick-or-treat trail features an assortment of favorites including Tootsie Rolls®, Smarties®, and Airheads®, just to name a few. The trail is one way with limited capacity, so everyone can have fun while staying safe!
Plus, we have reimagined candy distribution with the invention of the “candy luge.” It’s a candy-sized slide that’s almost as much fun for our Ambassadors as it is for candy connoisseurs at the receiving end.
SeaWorld’s Spooktacular takes place on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1 and Friday, Oct. 30 and is included in park admission. Reservations are required and can be made by visiting our ticket page.
Flicks & Frights
The family drive-in theater experience is back in Orlando with Flicks & Frights, SeaWorld’s slightly spooky take on the decades-old experience of watching movies from the comfort of your car. Every Friday at 7:45 p.m. through October 30th, we will be showing a classic family-friendly Halloween movie.Flicks & Frights is offered as a separately ticketed event that takes place in our parking lot. Parking for the event is $40 and includes a parking spot for one vehicle and movie viewing for everyone in your car. Visit our event page to see our full movie lineup and make your reservation.
