Happy Birthday, Aquatica!
February 28, 2018On March 1, 2008, Aquatica Orlando opened its gates to the world, redefining the water park experience as we know it with unique animal encounters, immersive theming and lush landscaping. Today, Orlando's favorite water playground celebrates ten years of providing extreme and serene watery fun to Orlando visitors and residents alike.
Opening Day- March 1, 2008
To commemorate the park's special day, we commissioned the sculpting of a 22-ton sand sculpture depicting a birthday cake inspired by Aquatica’s newest ride, Ray Rush! The sculpture measures 15’ wide, 8’ tall and took skilled artisans nearly 25 hours to complete. The sculpture will be on display inside the park for guests to see through March 5 and it's a must-see for anyone looking to hit Orlando's favorite beach this week! Check out our time lapse of the sculpture being built below.
We are also celebrating the occasion by offering an incredible deal on Annual Passes! Right now, Florida residents can purchase an Annual Pass to Aquatica for just $10 a month (Get it, 10 years = $10 😜) with EZpay. Aquatica Pass Members enjoy unlimited admission and free parking as well as discounts. Plus, you can be among the first to ride Ray Rush when it opens this spring! We are also offering our guests the opportunity to purchase 6” x 8” photos in the park for just $10 through the end of April. Click here to learn more about this awesome deal!
